The ugly feud between singer LeAnn Rimes and "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Brandi Glanville rages on, as Rimes hit back at Glanville for calling her unstable.
"Brandi might consider getting some help with her drinking," LeAnn's rep, Marcel Pariseau, told E! News. "If you watch her show, read her book and follow her tweets, she is constantly referring to her drinking. In fact, she was arrested for a DUI."
The harsh remarks came a day after Glanville, 40, suggested that Rimes, 30, was psychologically unstable and a possible danger to Brandi's two children with ex-husband, Eddie Cibrian (to whom LeAnn is now married).
"LeAnn needs to get help," Glanville told Life and Style. "She may be unstable and I am concerned; I want to protect [my children]. I want to make sure she's as healthy as she can be."
Rimes' rep says it is Brandi โ Not LeAnn โ who's off her rocker. "Brandi is one of the most narcissistic people around," says Pariseau. "She never takes responsibility for anything. Basically everyone past and present is at fault but no fault lies with her. Read the description of Narcissistic Personality Disorder and tell me what you think."
In reality, both LeAnn and Brandi have exhibited some questionable behavior recently. Glanville revealed on a November 2012 episode of the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" that she used to consume alcohol with antidepressants to cope with her depression over her divorce.
In August 2012, Rimes voluntarily checked into a rehab facility to deal with anxiety and stress. The following month, Glanville accused LeAnn of having an eating disorder and a laxative addiction.
"LeAnn has a severe eating disorder," said Glanville. "She has [a laxative] in every purse." Rimes has denied the allegations.
Glanville is the ex-wife of LeAnn's husband, actor Eddie Cibrian. In 2009, Cibrian, 39, cheated on Brandi with LeAnn and the two married in 2011. At the time, Rimes was also married โ to chef Dean Sheremet, 31. Brandi and Eddie were married for eight years and share custody of their two sons.
