Attorneys Joshua Prince and Tom Odom will be guests tonight on the nationally-syndicated Armed American Radio program to discuss a proposed rule change for National Firearms Act gun trusts, host Mark Walters announced today. Also appearing in tonight’s lineup will be “Emily Gets Her Gun: But Obama Wants to Take Yours” author and The Washington Times opinion page senior editor Emily Miller, Colorado recall leader Nick Andrasik, “Infringed” documentary co-producers Peter Jay Gould and Gary Theroux, AM1280 “The Patriot” Operations Manager Lee Michaels, blogger and trainer George “Mad Ogre” Hill, this correspondent, and AAR producer Sean “Seanto” Young.
Gun Rights Examiner has been following the development of the rule change since it was first made public when it was sent to the White House for review last month. Since that initial report, it was learned that a national NFA firearms collectors group initiated the gun trust rule change. Also reported in this column was the NFA “Day of Reckoning,” when gun owners were asked by Prince Law Firm and the Firearms Industry Consulting Group, with which Prince and Odom are affiliated, to contact their representatives about the proposed changes, and the news released last Monday that the proposed rulemaking has been published in the Federal Register, and a 90-day public comment period has begun.
Prince and Odom will join Walters in the 8:30 to 9 p.m. (Eastern Time) segment to explain what the proposed rule change is, what gun owner concerns should be, and considerations for posting effective comments.
Miller is scheduled to join the program in its first hour at 8. Andrasik will be joining the program from 9 to 9:30, at which time Gould and Theroux are slated to come on. Michaels, who was featured in Chapter Five of “Lessons from Unarmed America,” will be joining Mark for the duration of the program, and Hill and Gun Rights Examiner will be calling in at 10, at which time this correspondent will have a special report on today’s demonstration in Oberlin, Ohio against a proposed ordinance to ban guns in city parks.
To tune in to tonight’s program, readers can go to the Armed American Radio website to find a local station or to listen via live-streaming. In addition, Producer Seanto hosts a live in-studio video feed at his IRFNews website.
