LAUSD: The district of no consequences

No consequences for purchasing iPads with construction bond money while children are endangered in many schools by unsafe conditions.

No consequences for graduating high school students with 2nd grade reading levels.

No consequences for principals who never visit classrooms.

No consequences for students who disturb the classroom and keep others from learning.

No consequences for removing Art, Music, and Library from the curriculum in order to spend the money on tests.

No consequences for the continuing high school dropout rate.

No consequences for putting innocent teachers in teacher’s jail, sometimes for years.

If this were a business, those people responsible for any of this would have been fired a long time ago.

If this were a federal government agency the Congress would be holding hearings.

The LAUSD Board of Education is a publicly elected body. The members just do what the Superintendent wants while he follows his masters Broad and Gates.
