Actress Jennifer Aniston has been named the new face of Aveeno skin care products. In trumpeting the partnership, Aveeno pointed to Aniston's stunning natural beauty.
"Jennifer’s holistic approach to life and her natural beauty are such a perfect match for Aveeno," the company said in a statement.
Similarly, Aniston claims she has used Aveeno skin care products for years. "I'm very particular about what I put on my face and body, and have been using Aveeno for years, so this partnership is a natural fit for me," she says.
While there's no doubt Jennifer, 43, looks youthful and has radiant skin, she previously revealed that the real secret to her age-defying appearance was laser facial peels.
"I did this thing called a peel," Aniston said in 2012. "It’s extremely intense. You don't realize you look like a battered burn victim for a week. [The dead skin on your face] just kind of falls off for eight days."
Jennifer also admitted that she has long been obsessed with skin care products and lasers and gets regular facial peels to treat the sun spots and wrinkles she developed from years of sun tanning and smoking.
"I'd love to be a dermatologist," she said. "I'm fascinated by skin products and lasers. I go on the Internet and read all about it. I call it 'laser porn.' "
