"We're investigating a multiple shooting at the 300 block of N Nellis. Persons have been injured. Avoid the area. In a following tweet, it is stated that the sheriff will brief news media outlets with more information."

Witnesses say two officers were shot at point blank range as they ate their lunch at the Cici's Pizza at around 11:30 a.m., where one shooter stated: "This is a revolution." The two shooters then headed to the nearby Walmart, where they shot and killed another victim---a Walmart shopper, before turning the gun on themselves, according to WGN. The two gunmen--a man and a woman in their 30's, were pronounced dead at the Walmart. The names and identities are not being specified at this time but distraught friends and co-workers are taking to social media to express their grief over the deaths of fallen officers Alyn Beck, 42, and Igor Soldo, 32.

Police learned about the shootings after receiving a call at 11:50 a.m. that two people wearing bulletproof vests had fired shots inside the pizzeria. In an updated report, CBS 8-Klas TV, a local news station live at the scene, says the total number of deaths is five, including the two police officers who were shot.
