Lady Gaga needs hip surgery; cancels 'Born This Way' tour

With “Lady Gaga surgery” being a top trending headline this week after the talented singer revealed to fans she may have to cancel part of her “Born This Way Ball” tour, MTV reported this Thursday, Feb. 14, that Lady Gaga will need hip surgery and has been forced to cancel her entire tour.

Fans of Mother Monster are no doubt saddened not only by the news of Lady Gaga having to cancel her tour, but also equally concerned for the “Born This Way” star's health. The singer confirmed this Tuesday that she will have to postpone her , as Lady Gaga’s hip surgery will leave her out of commission until late spring or early summer.

Lady Gaga suffered a labral tear, a hip injury that is rather serious, but also treatable with surgery. Mother Monster took to Twitter this week to tell fans how “devastated” she is at the news, and would never want to disappoint them.

Lady Gaga’s labral tear in her hip is an injury that often takes roughly four to six months to fully heal post surgery.
