Project Runway's Tim Gunn hates Kim Kardashian's look,

Reality star Kim Kardashian might be a fashion icon for millions of young women, but fashion expert Tim Gunn thinks Kardashian's look is trashy, tacky and tasteless.
'SHE LOOKS CHEAP'
"[Kim's look] may have some sexiness to it, but I find it largely vulgar," Gunn, 56, recently told CNN. "It has a cheapness and a tawdriness."
Tim knows a thing of two about fashion. Gunn has been the chief creative officer at Liz Claiborne since 2007, and before that was on the faculty of the Parsons School of Design from 1982 to 2007.
Tim, who has been a mentor to designers on Project Runway since 2004, isn't a fan of Kim, 29, or her sisters Khloe, 25, and Kourtney, 30.
FAKE HAIR, NAILS AND TAN
"The Kardashians have an absence of taste and I don't think that that should be perpetuated," says Gunn. "I'm sorry I'm sounding like an old farty snob, but it bothers me."
It's hard to argue with Tim's comments, since the gorgeous Kim's over-the-top style often resembles a drag queen. In fact, Kardashian's look is a favorite among drag queens.
SEX-TAPE SCANDAL LAUNCHED CAREER
The curvy 5'2" Kim typically wears long hair extensions, fake nails, thigh-high hooker boots, a fake tan and garish makeup.
She has also recently begun getting Botox injections after turning 29, saying she "feels old".
Kardashian, who became famous in 2007 for having a big *ss and a sex tape, used her notoriety to launch a hit reality TV show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
Kim also used her overnight celebrity to make money shilling products like QuickTrim diet pill, Carl's Jr. fast food, workout DVDs, a clothing line and fragrance.
Despite Kardashian's repeated insistence over the years that she wants to move past the raunchy 2007 sex tape that made her famous, Kim continues to capitalize on her voluptuous curves to market both herself and the products she hawks.
While Kim has her share of detractors, she's laughing all the way to the bank.

Tim gunn comments are so out of place, I am a fashionista but when it comes to protect runway I feel sorry for all those people who seek fame and even though are talented, let this group of nobodies, uptight, upper class wannabes, tell them what to do.
I just can't believe how some people have sush a low self esteem they go to the stupid show to get battered in national TV.
as for the kardashians I think they are entitle to their own taste. I have no need to watch their show either but is about the principal of letting them decide what to do with their own images.
I would like to add that one thing Tim Gunn is right about is that yesssssssssss, he is an old fart and snob and I will add self righteous, angry man who wants to be worship and be put in a pedestal.
Kim is a trashy ho-bag with a plastic face, and Tim is an old fart snob. Kim is naturally pretty but wears so much makeup her face sometimes looks like it's dirty. and we all know she has a bangin' body. So does Jessica Alba, and you don't see her wearing hooker boots with every single outfit. The kardashians (especially that monstrous Khloe) are tacky and trashy but they are also entertaining as hell.
In real life i doubt guys want to run their hands through someone's dirty extensions, look into their raccoon eyes or kiss lip gloss.
Don't personally know what the big deal and talent claimed by Ms. Kardashian might be, but if she ends up looking anything like Bruce Jenner, run for the hills! Vain vain vain.

When have you ever know for white women to beg their daughters to married black men? Only those with some money. Lamar is nothing and Reggie is a has been, I can't wait until they trade him.

Kim Kardashian doesn't deserve her fame. There are talented people more deserving of air-time. If Kim Kardashian were a famous singer,dancer actress or songwriter I'd understand the fuss about her. What about people who are trying to become screenwriters they deserve more recognition than Kim. I have more respect for starving artist independent filmmakers than Kim Kardashian.
omg, I am so tired of seeing Kim's pic and hearing about the family! Really don't care! I think her boobs are fake, her eyelashes are fake, and I think they all have fake hair! Except for mom and bruce! Why do guys always like high-maintenance women? costs lots of money for their upkeep and they will expect the guy to pay for it. Plus you will always be waiting two hours for them to get ready. What is wrong with naturally pretty? I see 14 year olds with dyed hair, my mom would NEVER let me dye my hair that young, and she darn sure wouldn't pay $100 to get it done. I know those teens aren't paying for it. The only reason she's famous is because she has a "hot" body (plastic surgery) and a video tape.
I watched the first 5 episodes of the TV show, and decided that it was VERY trashy. The only words of importance were "I'm going to the Playboy shoot"

Big-assed celebrities (Kim, Beyonce, Tyra, Coco, Jennifer...) are the new role models. There's nothing uglier than a fat ass. Oh, well. At least those women are beautiful from the neck up. Just have a pretty face and sit down.
I don't know why the media always follows all this trash with cash. They are all publicity hounds who will do anything they can to stay in the eye of the media. Kims' wedding and now filing for divorce 10 weeks later are perfect examples of that. I wish people would start becoming interested in following folks in the media who are doing things to build up society, rather than these self indulgent slobs who accomplish nothing, except landing on the cover of tabloids.
