Khloe Kardashian believes in new clothes for the new year, so she is selling some of her old ones on eBay. Seriously. Lingerie and used gym wear, among other things. The idea is to make money for husband Lamar Odom’s favorite charity, but even then, reports Radar Online on Monday, Jan. 7, only “a portion of the proceeds” will be going to Cathy’s Kids – a cancer charity the basketball star supports. Will Kardashian fans actually go for this idea?
Apparently they will. Khloe Kardashian listed a pre-owned “Aerie Fit Sports Bra Size S” with a starting bid of $.99, and a pair of her used – make that pre-owned – “Active Basic Black Yoga Pants Size Large” for $2.25.” The yoga pants seemed to take off, with enough bids in just the first few hours to double the starting bid. Maybe fans wanted a collector’s item. Maybe they were stunned Khloe Kardashian admitted to wearing a size L.
“New year, new wardrobe ,” Khloe tweeted on Monday, providing a link to the list of items, which included some of Lamar’s things. Basketball fans might be interested. But the crown jewel of the collection was a pair of Brian Atwood Maniac platform pumps, with really high heels. They zoomed up to $158.50. Imagine what price a pair of Christian Louboutins might have pulled.
If Khloe really wants to earn some charity money, she will have to turn loose with some designer duds, not lingerie. And fans will have to stay alert, or the best things will be gone. Maybe sister Kim will rid her closet of a few things.
