Honoring the late Jim Henson, Kermit the Frog and Rowlf came together on the stage at D23 Expo on Friday. The two Muppets' characters did a special tribute that brought the audience and Muppets fans together, as they sang Rainbow Connection together. The moment had everyone in the audience completely focusing on the two on stage with not a word spoken by the audience as everyone was anticipating the moment.
Strumming his banjo, Kermit the Frog had a chance to share one of the most beloved songs connected to The Muppets during a segment honoring Jim Henson. Performing the single Rainbow Connection, the song sounded like it did years ago when the first track was released to the public.
In a visual and audio demonstration, the moment on stage captured everything the fans loved about The Muppets. Friendly and personable, the furry creatures shared an inspiration not found in other characters.
