Keith Richards and daughter Theodora have been featured this month in Harper's Bazaar. The legendary Rolling Stone guitarist and the 29-year-old fashion model/illustrator teamed up for an interview in the popular women's fashion magazine to promote their recent collaboration on an upcoming children's book titled "Gus & Me: The Story of My Granddad and My First Guitar."

The interview, titled "Family Values: Keith and Theodora Richards" was posted online Aug. 14 at HarpersBazaar.com and an excerpt is also available at the rock n' roll badboy's official Facebook page. The book was inspired by Richards' grandfather, who was a musician and helped inspire the rock n' roll bad boy's interest in music.

The veteran rocker's daughter and co-contributor, the eldest of two children with wife Patti Hansen, was named after the book's central character, Richards' grandfather Theodore Augustus Dupree. Commenting on his reasons for doing the book, the "Satisfaction" hitmaker says, "I was about to become a grandfather for the fifth time, and I had a daughter who likes to do illustrations, and I felt I could keep it in the family, and I did also want to bring Gus to life again."

The book will be Keith Richards' second literary effort. His first book, a memoir titled "Life," topped the New York Time's non-fiction list in the first week of its release in 2010. "Gus & Me" is available for pre-order at Amazon and will be available in digital format on Sept. 9.

Richards turned 70 years old on Dec. 18, 2013 and celebrated his 30th wedding anniversary on the same day. Richards also became a grandfather this year to a baby boy in February, courtesy of his daughter Angela Richards. He now has five grandchildren, three from his son Marlon and two from Angela.

Richards and The Stones wrapped up the European leg of their hugely successful 14 On Fire Tour last month and are currently enjoying a couple of months off before touring Australia and New Zealand. Presented by Frontier Touring in association with AEG Live, the Down Under trek kicks off on Oct. 25 in Adelaide, Australia at the Adelaide Oval. For more details, click here.
