Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge was pretty in pink as she stepped out today with husband Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge to watch the races with other racegoers on Gold Cup Day at Cheltenham Racecourse.
For the races, the former Kate Middleton wore a dusty pink winter coat that she has owned from prior to her marriage to William, which she likes to tame with deep chocolate brown accessories.
As for the accessories, they are a £240 “Betty Boop” pillbox hat from Lock & Co, a pair of brown knee-high Rumba boots from Aquatalia by Marvin K, that retail for £488, a matching brown clutch bag and dark brown gloves.
Duchess Kate also wore pretty dangle earrings that appeared to be square-cut and pinkish in color – perhaps rose quartz or pink tourmaline set in yellow gold.
Prince William looked dapper in his personal uniform of navy blue suit, teamed with a plum colored necktie, spectacles perched upon his nose to catch the action on the racecourse.
A very important point that needs to be made here is that as Duchess Catherine watched the races, this rather insensitive “gent” was smoking directly in the presence of the fetus of the future monarch, possibly endangering the health of both the mother and the child. There is no doubt that many would want that man horsewhipped!
Kate and William were attending for the races for the first time this week and reportedly arrived just in time for the 3: 20 p.m. Gold Cup Steeple Chase to cheer on Mike Tindall's horse, Monbeg Dude.
However, the winners today were trainer Nicky Henderson and jockey Barry Geraghty who got the Cheltenham Gold Cup.
Also attending the races today was TV personality Ben Fogle, looking sporty in his retro inspired woolen vest and sage green jacket.
William’s Aunt, Princess Anne, the Princess Royal was also attending today and was photographed attending with her daughter Zara Phillips on Day 2.
This is the fourth and final day of the 2013 Cheltenham Festival and reportedly some 200,000 horseracing enthusiasts were attending today.
