Actress Kate Hudson showcased her toned abs in the April 2013 issue of "Glamour," where she discussed workout secrets and her laid-back approach to life.
Hudson, who lost 70 pounds after giving birth to her second son in 2011, credits regular exercise for her slimline physique. "Dancing, Pilates and running after Bing [is my fitness secret]," Kate told Glamour.
The 5-foot-6 Hudson, who tipped the scales at 184 pounds during her pregnancy, lost the weight by working out up to six hours a day. Kate scaled back on exercise after shedding the excess weight, but continues to stay active and eat well.
Hudson, 33, has always been passionate and ambitious, but meditates to stay centered and calm.
"I have always been fiery; I go after things," she says. "But what I learned from my mother [actress Goldie Hawn] is to step back and actually experience things that are happening. So for me, it’s about meditating."
Hudson, who appears as Cassandra July in the hit TV series "Glee," really embraces the part because she gets to do what she loves. "I have so much fun playing her," gushes Kate. "Singing and dancing makes me so happy."
