Playmate Karissa Shannon is shocked that her sex tape is on the verge of a big release. The former girlfriend of Playboy king Hugh Hefner and her boyfriend said they were willing to take legal action to keep the sex tape under wraps. Yet, recent reports bust the couple for agreeing to release the tape for a big chunk of change.
KARISSA SHANNON'S SEX TAPE LIE
The 20-year-old twin and her boyfriend "Smallville" actor Sam Jones III reportedly were shocked when they learned Vivid Entertainment was on the brink of releasing the sex tape. In related reports that linked Karissa Shannon to a sex tape with reality TV star Heidi Montag, she confessed her fears that a stolen camcorder had other "personal moments" that could be exploited.
Even still, Shannon and her beau assert they'll do anything to take legal action. Including a lawsuit against Vivid.
"Karissa and I are very upset to find out that Vivid had acquired any footage of us," said Jones, 27. "Our legal team will take every legal action to stop this."
REPORTS: KARISSA SHANNON CONSENTED TO TAPE
Despite her pleas, Karissa Shannon's sex tape may have been consented to release based upon recent reports indicating the couple agreed to selling rights. Both TMZ and Fox411.com claim that Shannon and her boyfriend released the tape to Vivid for a "six-figure amount".
Vivid president Steven Hirsch told TMZ that the company is "excited" to finally released the tape, calling the DVD "amazing" and "extremely kinky for a celeb sex tape".
He adds, "Karissa is absolutely beautiful. And as for Sam, let's just say he's no 'Smallville'. "This is sure to be one of our all-time best sellers."

It's been a busy year for adult video entertainment company, Vivid. In the last several months, Hirsch and his team have pulled together a popular collection. In addition to the Karissa Shannon sex tape, Vivid has inked deals with Laurence Fishburne's daughter, Montana Fishburne, and fellow Girls Next Door star Kendra Wilkinson.
