Justin Bieber up, Johnny Tapia down

Justin Bieber entered the ring recently, while Johnny Tapia is down the count. If the two had ever fought, my money would have been on Johnny Tapia. TMZ has reported that the authorities might be charging Justin--talk about a baby faced assassin-- with a criminal battery. Bieber threw a left, right, left combo at a photographer in Calabasas, California.

Bieber was supposedly protecting his girlfriend Selena Gomez. The photographer did get a TKO and was sent to the hospital. I don't think he will get street cred for taking a punch from Justin. TMZ recently published pics of Bieber taking boxing lessons from Mike Tyson.

I bet the photographer will try to take Team Bieber to the cleaners in court. Don't know what the latest line in Vegas is. Justin will certainly hit back hard. He will presumably claim that the photographer started it and he was just acting to defend his girl. One thing for Bieber, he doesn't back down when sued. That's something that Tyson could learn.

As for the passing of Johnny Tapia, he was a great man who struggled with a lot of demons. My heart goes out to his family.
