Justin Bieber fans are watching the star very closely for his next move. Expecting to see him at the award show in Los Angeles, the pop star was a no-show. Instead it appears some of Bieber’s closest friends and family have gone to Panama to talk with the star. According to the "Today" show on Monday, it was confirmed by Kathie Lee and Hoda that the singer’s mom Pattie Mallette has made her way to Panama.
Joining others concerned about Justin, Pattie joins others already in Panama. So far the list includes Justin Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun, Justin’s mentor Usher, and Ryan Butler a childhood friend. While the people important in his life rally to help the star, the question will be what is next for the teen.
If this is a genuine intervention, the next step will be rehab. The star has been linked to several different substances, but so far there hasn’t been any public acknowledgement. Offering the opportunity to talk things over without all the press lingering might be a great way to decide on what to do next. And, if Justin Bieber decides that rehab is the next step, then he will be surrounded by friends and family to make the transition easier.
