On March 10, 2013, Justin Bieber's promoter announced he was cancelling one of two scheduled concert performances in Portugal “due to unforeseen circumstances,” reports TMZ.
The tabloid website notes that it is the second show—slated to take place on March 12—that was cancelled.
The statement was posted on the Pavilhao Atlantico's website, the concert venue, and reads, “Due to unforeseen circumstances, Justin Bieber was forced to cancel the second performance in Portugal, March 12. The Canadian singer is eager to play for the Portuguese fans on March 11. Holders of tickets valid for March 12 should contact the respective place of purchase to receive a refund within 30 days of the date of the scheduled concert, which ends April 11.”
According to TMZ, there is yet no word on why the concert was cancelled or whether the cancellation is related to the collapse the singer had during a London concert performance last week, which his representatives said was due to shortness of breath.
