Jordan Linn Graham, a newlywed of only eight days, has been arrested and charged with the murder of her new husband. According to MSN News on Sept. 10, Graham pushed Cody Johnson off a cliff at Glacier National Park in Montana.
After only eight days of marriage, Graham allegedly had expressed doubts about their new marriage, the two began argue and Graham then pushed Johnson off the cliff, killing him.
The charges in the case against Graham are second-degree murder.
Graham initially reported her husband as missing to authorities and said that he texted her and said he was out with friends. She said he was in a dark colored car. She then called the emergency dispatchers at Glacier National Park and told them she found his body below a hiking path.
After an investigation, Graham admitted that she lied about Johnson disappearing and that she had pushed him off the cliff during an argument. The FBI has her sworn statement on record where she said Johnson grabbed her arm and she pushed him over the ledge in anger.
In the statement, Graham said she could have walked away but did not, and as a result, Johnson ended up dead. She also said that she told a friend that she was having second thoughts after the wedding and said she was going to talk to him about it. She said she told her friend that, if she didn't hear from her soon, something will have happened.
