Jim Carrey has segued into writing Children's books. The actor takes a simple element like a wave, and turns it into a metaphorical tale that children of all ages will love. Carrey will be appearing at Barnes & Noble Union Square to sign copies of his new book, "How Roland Rolls," on Oct. 5 in NY.
With the help of illustrator Rob Nason, funnyman Jim Carrey transitions into a storyteller with ease. "How Roland Rolls" tells the story of a friendly wave named Roland who’s afraid that, one day, when he hits the beach, he will no longer exist. He soon learns that he's not just a little wave; but he's the whole big ocean.
Carrey will be on-hand to sign copies of the book beginning at the B&N location at 2 p.m. Books will be signed on a first-come, first-served basis.
"How Roland Rolls" is available now for pre-order. The book will be officially released on Sept. 24. and retails for $10.74 via the official website of Barnes & Noble. The book can also be purchased at your local B&N store.
