Jillian Michaels has been named in another class action lawsuit that claims her Triple Process Total Body Detox & Cleanse diet supplement contains a "lethal combination of toxic ingredients" that "could kill you."

According to a complaint filed Aug. 5, 2010 in L.A. County Superior Court, the lead plaintiff -- a woman who identifies herself by the initials R.D. -- claims the herbs in Jillian's detox diet pill can cause ulcers, vomiting, dangerous laxative and diuretic effects, liver damage and death.

CLAIMS OF FRAUD

R.D. is suing Jillian and Thin Care International (the manufacturer of Jillian's Triple Process Total Body Detox & Cleanse) for more than $10 million for "actively and fraudulently" conspiring to hide the alleged dangers in the supplement.

In a complaint obtained by TMZ, the following ingredients are highlighted:

  • Irish Moss Powder: "causes gastrointestinal ulcers" and is "so toxic that it is the gel commonly applied to aircraft wings to dissolve ice"
  • Bearberry: "known to cause nausea and vomiting"
  • Yarrow: "a toxic lawn weed that causes dermatitis"
  • Chinese Rhubarb: "a harsh laxative and dangerous diuretic that can cause sever dehydration and may cause irreversible liver damage"
  • Fenugreek Seed: "interferes with digestion and causes both diarrhea and gas."

This is the fourth class action that has been filed against Michaels, 36, since February 2010. In two of the other lawsuits, the plaintiffs alleged that Jillian's proprietary diet pills were worthless, ineffective shams that didn't help them lose any weight.

FOURTH LAWSUIT VS. MICHAELS SINCE FEB. 2010

In the third suit, the plaintiffs claimed that Michaels' other diet supplement, the Maximum Strength Fat Burner, was a "toxic cocktail" that could cause serious heart problems or death.

Jillian, a fitness trainer who starred on the hit reality TV show the Biggest Loser since 2004, has written several fitness books, has her own exercise DVDs and now stars in her own spinoff, Losing It With Jillian.

Michaels recently revealed she had a nose job when she was a teen. "In eighth grade, I weighed 175 pounds and my nose was the size of a softball," she told Parade. "I had my nose done — it made a big difference in my life. I felt much better about myself."

Jillian has not yet responded to the latest lawsuit.
