“Silver Linings Playbook” star and natural blonde Jennifer Lawrence rocked a blonde wig for a W Magazine photo shoot. Looking fabulous in a pink Dior cotton dress and Mikimoto pearl necklace, the actress posed with a vintage-styled group.
Lawrence talked to the magazine about her “Silver Linings Playbook” character. “I like that my character knows that she’s crazy—and accepts it.” Lawrence told W Magazine’s Lynn Hirschberg. “She says, ‘Keep being weird! Just be proud of it.’”
Far from being crazy in real life, the 22-year-old star stays true herself and does not conform to the usual Hollywood standards. She may be the new face of Dior, but she has lived in the same modest Santa Monica condo since 2006 and considers herself “fat, by Hollywood’s standards.”
According to Hirschberg, Lawrence “speaks her mind and is not guarded or conventional.” When asked what super power she would like to have, Lawrence said, “It would be horrible to read people’s thoughts. I always know when I’m being lied to, and that drives me nuts.”
Lawrence is nominated for an upcoming Screen Actor Award and an Academy Award for her role in the movie, “Silver Linings Playbook.”
