Jason Aldean's star keeps getting brighter, with the just-announced news that his latest single, “The Only Way I Know,” has officially become the 11th No. 1 single of his career and his seventh consecutive No. 1.
The track, which features Luke Bryan and Eric Church, currently sits atop both the Billboard and Mediabase charts. The song is contained on Aldean's platinum-selling "Night Train" album.
"Having Eric and Luke come sing on this track with me was one of the highlights of recording the album," said Aldean is a Feb. 4 email shared with Examiner.com. "We are buddies off the road and outside of the music business, so this one is extra special for me.
"After my first No. 1 song back in 2006," he continued, "I worried (that) I may never have another one. Thankfully, we've been able to rack up a few of them in a row recently, and I have a lot of people to thank for that."
At present, the Georgia-born performer is prepping for his hot-selling 2013 Night Train Tour that will get under way Feb. 21 in Bossier City, La., with stops in 24 cities through May, including a Madison Square Garden sellout. Jake Owen and Thomas Rhett will open.
