From director Kimberly Peirce, of Boys Don’t Cry and Stop-Loss, comes the terrifying horror thriller Carrie, an exhilarating re-imagining of Stephen King’s iconic best-seller. From a screenplay by Lawrence D. Cohen and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, it stars Chloë Grace Moretz as the titular Carrie White with telekinetic powers and Julianne Moore as her religious mother Margaret White.

In this third film adaptation of King’s 1974 novel, Carrie is a shy teenage girl outcast by her peers and sheltered by her religious fanatic mother. Constantly subjected to merciless abuse at school and at home, her anger culminates into telekinetic terror. When a cruel senior prom prank goes horribly wrong, Carrie unleashes her wrath on the small town in Maine causing a night of unimaginable horror and devastation.

The DVD and Blu-ray showcase heart-pounding exclusive special features including “Bringing Back Carrie” featurette and the hit “Telekinetic Coffee Shop Surprise” viral video. Exclusive to Blu-ray are deleted/extended scenes with director commentary, an alternate ending, commentary by director Kimberly Peirce and “The Power of Telekinesis” featurette.
