Twilight Saga star Jackson Rathbone is ready to take his career in Hollywood in a different direction.
While at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards last week in support of the release of the new The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 trailer, Rathbone spoke up (in the attached video interview with VH1) about fatherhood and his plans to take a more behind-the-scenes role in movie-making.
"I'm going to go take some time to go to do some writing. Kind of gotta like hole myself up kinda producing a lot more as opposed to acting. I'm still acting, but I really want to get behind-the-scenes," he explained.
Rathbone's done some such work before on his web series Aim High and the film Girlfriend, but for the most part his seven years in Tinseltown have been on-screen rather than behind the lens. Think this is a good career move for Jackson Rathbone?
