Many players have discovered an easy way to duplicate items in the recently-released multiplatform title, Borderlands 2. You can check out some screenshots from the open-world cooperative role-playing game in the slideshow at the top of this article and the details below.
The “item duplication” exploit has to be done in the offline or online cooperative mode and involves the saving system. The players must be in an area where auto-saving does not occur. Once the conditions are met, the host player of the co-op game can give items to the others, who can then save and leave the game with their gifts normally. The host then has to exit the game without saving (by using the Home button on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 to bring up the XMB and Dashboard menus) so that he won’t lose any of the items he just gave away.
It is unknown is Gearbox Software, the developer behind Borderlands 2, will patch up the “item duplication” exploit.
Borderlands 2 was released for the PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 in North America on September 18. You can order the open-world cooperative role-playing game in the following link: Borderlands 2
