Hip hip hooray - September 26th is National Pancake Day! Whether you call ‘em flapjacks, Johnny cakes or hotcakes, this annual food holiday is dedicated to all things pancakes. Available in many flavors, pancakes are not just for breakfast anymore! Whether you love yours stuffed with goodies, plain, slathered in butter or drenched in syrup, pancakes are delicious comfort food no matter how you stack 'em.
National Pancake Day Specials
Some restaurants are celebrating the annual event by offering a variety of pancake specials today. Participating Denny’s, Chef’s Table, Foy and AU Smokehouse will offer a 2 for 1 special from 7:00 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. And Scramble, in Phoenix, will also be having an all-you-can-eat special promotion in honor of the occasion.
