Illegal alien deported a year ago, rapes doctor in Philadelphia

On Tuesday, police in Philadelphia arrested Milton Mateo Garcia, 28, after he reportedly raped a woman last weekend. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials have conformed that the Honduran national was deported in June 2013, though the agency has declined to say what criminal activity led to his removal.

The victim, a 26-year-old doctor at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, left the Ladder 15 bar on Sansom Street, after spending Friday evening with friends. Garcia grabbed her as she was about to enter her apartment building near Rittenhouse Square, according to police.

The illegal alien was captured on surveillance footage following the woman.

The victim was forced into her apartment, where she was repeatedly raped, and robbed of her iPhone and keys. In a sickening twist, Garcia returned to the apartment and raped her again, before she could call for help.

It was the woman's iPhone which actually led police to Garcia...

"On June 21, 2014, after releasing surveillance video to the public, the iPhone that was taken during this incident tracked it’s location in close proximity to the 1800 block of South 8th Street. After investigation of this location Milton Garcia was then identified as the suspect in this crime and was arrest on June 24, 2014," a police press release stated.

Garcia, who has reportedly confessed to the horrific crime, has been charged with rape, robbery, burglary, kidnapping and several other charges. He is currently being held at the Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility on an ICE detainer.

Despite the fact that Garcia was not only in the country illegally, but had already been deported at least once, he was employed at Philadelphia's posh Tashan Restaurant on South Broad Street.

After Garcia's arrest, Tashan Restaurant made the following statement:

Philadelphia Police have arrested a part-time kitchen employee Milton Garcia in connection with an on-going rape investigation. Garcia has been employed at Tashan for 3 months and presented all appropriate documents for employment.

He also is also employed at two other businesses in the city where he may have had customer contact and delivery duties.

This tragic case once again demonstrates the futility of deporting criminal aliens, when the Obama administration refuses to make any reasonable effort to secure our borders. How many more previously deported sexual predators are currently roaming our neighborhoods?

Unlike nearly all other crimes, those committed by illegal aliens are 100 percent preventable. It's really very simple, if they are not here...they are not here to commit the crimes. We do NOT need new immigration laws, we simply need an administration willing to enforce the current ones.
