On Saturday, deputies with the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office (LPSO) arrested Mario Vasconcelos, 34, after DNA evidence confirmed he had sex with some of the livestock on a privately owned farm.
In June, deputies were called to the farm to remove Vasconcelos who had trespassed onto the property.
Under questioning, Vasconcelos admitted to having sex with a donkey and a goat, on four separate occasions, according to Sheriff Craig Webre.
DNA evidence was collected and submitted to the Louisiana State Police Crime Lab for analysis. Techs reported the sample matched Vasconcelos. Deputies said they discovered there was a warrant for his arrest for contempt of court from a domestic abuse case in 2011.
