There are many beautiful locations in which to elope and get married in Atlanta Georgia. The first order of business is to obtain a marriage license. Due to Georgia laws a valid marriage license is required to be legally wed in this state. To do so simply call the county of your residence and ask for the Probate Court. They will give you all the information needed to obtain a wedding license and this can be done on the same day as the ceremony. Next, you will need to find a venue. This can be done through obtaining a listing of the state and local parks in and around Atlanta ( ie Piedmont Park or Grant Park) and then calling the city of Atlanta or state DNR to reserve the park's gazebo. The gazebo will also give protection in case of rain. Another idea is to approach the restaurants of Atlanta about hosting the ceremony and also a meal or reception afterwards. The bargains can be incredible by doing this as they love the publicity and also get to show off their culinary work. Lastly, many of the downtown historic areas are willing to provide space for just a quick elopement type ceremony in their facilities. For example you can try the World Of Coca-Cola, the Georgia Aquarium, or even the top of Stone Mountain! Please give me a call as you will also need an officiant and I would love to provide that part of the elopement package for you! Now our lovely brides and grooms can get married and elope in Atlanta Georgia on a shoe-string budget for the memory of a lifetime! Reverend Thomas Johnson
