As the reader looks upon the accompanying “Political Bell Curve” Chart one Political Demographic group stands out. [ It will probably be useful to the reader to open the accompanying graphic in a seperate window or tab so it can be easily referred to while reading this article] Based on its overwhelming proportion of the population this Demographic group represents, it logically should control the political agenda of our country… Please hold that thought.
As this writer looks out upon the political and economic landscape that is America, he struggles to make sense of it all. How can the following events and acts be reconciled with belief that we live in a Constitutionally limited, Representative Republic with two separate and independent major political parties?
Democrats, who are supposed to be the champions over the middle and lower class America, vote to bail out businesses and their wealthy owners?
Republicans are supposed to value the risk and reward Darwinism of the Free Market, yet voted to bailout failed business and business owners?
Republicans are supposed to be about the risk and reward Darwinism of the Free Market, yet voted for the stimulus bill?
For three years, this writer has advanced a resolution within the Republican Party, the party of fiscal responsibility, requiring that all municipalities (cities, counties, schools, etc) post their budgets and actually spending and revenues on the internet in layman’s terms with no aggregates over $100.00. Instead of embracing this obvious fiscal transparency tool, the Republican Party of Minnesota has engaged in reprisal and various unethical acts to prevent this resolution from being made part of the Republican Platform. http://bit.ly/IgWOtd
Republicans overwhelmingly favor repeal (87%) http://bit.ly/JGnCl8 of Obamacare, yet somehow allegedly are willing to trust Romneycare Flip Flop Romney not to flip flop on State run Health care?
Republicans and Democrats vote to take away WE THE PEOPLE’s right to a speedy trial and representation under the Bill of Rights with NDAA?
The Government philosophy of “Consent of the Governed” developed out of the Enlightenment* supposedly replaced “Divine Right of Kings”, yet our US Supreme Court has restored the Divine Right of Kings with it obvious and purposeful misinterpretation of the 11th Amendment. http://goo.gl/XeOYV And neither major political party objects?
Individual Property Rights were one of the fundamental Natural Law Rights established through the Enlightenment*, yet our courts have restored Divine Right of Kings in various Court rulings. http://bit.ly/rZvrXM And, yet again, no major political party objects?
The American Judiciary and Legal system are systemically corrupt and yet the Democrat and Republican Parties actively cover up, aid and abet this systemic corruption. http://bit.ly/JBFOiB
To this writer’s mind, somehow these ironies & inconsistencies are not adequately explained by the belief in a political system where 2 independent and philosophically diametrically opposed political parties battle to represent the best interests of WE THE PEOPLE.
And with that thought in mind, this writer sought to identify a political paradigm to explain the inconsistencies the alleged 2 party political system paradigm does not logically nor reasonably explain.
Before we go further, we must establish 3 facts:
1) The US Declaration of Independence, Constitution and Bill of Rights were drafted to be consistent with the concepts of Natural Law and Natural Rights Born out of the Enlightenment*;
2) The US Government is not a Democracy. The Founding Fathers specifically founded the US as a constitutionally limited, Representative Republic. It was based this way to prevent the majority from taking from an individual or minority certain UNALIENABLE Natural Law Rights (except for criminal offenses confirmed by the Rule of Law and Due Process);
3) We The People must work within the parameters of the US Constitution and Natural Law. Any powers not specifically enumerated in the Federal Constitution were specifically reserved for the States and/or the people.
As you might imagine, when confronted with the concept of commoners having Natural Rights, those who would be tyrants did not easily give up the power of “Divine Right of Kings”. Some countries, such as England, grudgingly incorporated the concepts of Natural Law into their ruling documents. Many countries, such as France, attempted to violently repress these new ideas and were eventually overthrown by outright violent revolution. But by no means, did any of these former and would be tyrants, give up there designs on restoring their previous positions of power.
And then came along those upstart radical American Colonists who founded an entire Nation diametrically opposed to the Government philosophy of the Divine Right of Kings. Instead it was based on the philosophy of “Consent of the Governed”.
And there the tyrants and would-be tyrants were stuck with a huge portion of a country’s population thinking they had the same rights as their elected officials, the rich and the elite.
And again we are back to “Based on its proportion of the population this Demographic group represents, logically it should control the political agenda of our country…” BUT IT DOES NOT. How is this possible? How did this happen?
To understand what has happened, perhaps it is easiest to explain it from the perspective of the would-be tyrants.
In this new up start America, most of the old tools under Divine Rights of Kings were lost. No longer were their orders able to be based on whim without consideration of the Rights of others, the Rule of Law nor Due Process. And, freedom of religion vastly curbed the ability to bring the population to heal with religious dogma.
Suddenly the only tools left to the 1% were their wealth, knowledge, censorship and propaganda. But they were still 1% versus the 99%. The 99%, having more in common with each other than the 1%, could easily control the political agenda of the country.
The first step, artificially divide the 99%. (2 major parties)
The second step, pit the 2 halves of the 99% against each other by using propaganda to exacerbate, exaggerate and accentuate the differences between the 2 halves. (public school, religion, major media, campaign ads, false or exaggerated political party dogma)
At this point, because the 1% freely and anonymously move between the 2 major political parties, they have decreased their disadvantage from 1% v 99% to 1% v 49.5%
The third step,The 1% gains the loyalty of the politicians of both parties by financing their campaigns and/or giving them other consideration.
The fourth step,The 1% builds up an contingent of operatives, employees, loyalists and those willing to trade their votes favors and consideration.
The fifth step,The elected officials of both parties build up their own contingents of operatives, employees, loyalists and those will to trade their votes for favors and consideration. The elected officials of both parties distract attention from their own wrong doings and/or inconsistent votes by telling their rank and file constituents to blame the rank and file constituents & elected officials of the other Party and vice versa. And soon the rank and file of each major party is blaming, protesting and counter protesting the rank and file of the other party…. All the while the elected officials of both parties get together in smoky backrooms to discuss their next scheme to screw rank and file America.
The sixth step,Keep polarizing issues split between the 2 parties, divide single issue voters evenly between the two parties. (Abortion, gay marriage, racism) Example – Lincoln, a Republican, freed the slaves. The KKK was closely affiliated with Southern Democrats. Democrats most actively opposed the Civil Rights movement. Yet the 1% today has you believe the Democrat Party best represents the interests of persons of color. If racism is a matter of principle and not of simple political expediency, how can it so easily drift from one party to another party? This writer submits that racism today is only kept alive to allow the 1 and only 1 ruling class elite to divide and conquer rank and file America.
As the reader can easily see from the bell curve graphic, using these 6 steps and processes, the 1% has effectively improved their disadvantage from 1% v 99% to 17.5 v 49.5%. With these odds, instead of having to persuade half of the population to vote for politicians loyal to the 1%, the ruling class elite only have to convince a 1/3 of the American population (and then only from the uncommitted 66%) to vote for them.
To close the rest of the gap, the 1% and the ruling class elite, rely upon money, major media, propaganda, censorship, baser instincts and emotions and election fraud. One of this writer’s favorite recurring tweets is:
U cant protect yourself, your perspective of reality&your family from #Government if Udont know about #EdwardBernays http://bit.ly/nY9BjW
The shear rawness and evil of Edward Bernays style propaganda and the ruling class elites willingness to use it for political gain, should affirm this writers assertions as to the true nature and intent of the 1 and only 1 ruling class elite pretending to be 2 major political parties.
Next, by framing each election in a certain way, the ruling class elite essentially control the election dialogue and the results.
For example, this election is all about jobs. And when the economy is this bad, and family bread winners are having trouble supporting their families, you can bet this many voters are going to be casting their votes to address their emotional despair. (Again, note the appeal to emotions that Edward Bernays style propaganda preys upon.) People are hurting, Men feel inadequate as men and bread winners, Lets take advantage of their emotional state caused by their economic plight (that the ruling class caused) Let’s get them to vote for us by promising jobs that they will leap at to heal their emotional despair.
Note, all the emphasis on jobs bills and other short term band aid solutions to create jobs. Wouldn’t the better course of action be corrective, long term policy changes to ensure a constant and steady expansion of the economy and expansion of the job market?
Why did the major media debates gloss over the damage the unconstitutional privately owned Federal Reserve Bank is doing to each and every citizen? Why did they not mention the $25 billion dollars paid each year to the private owners of the Federal Reserve Bank? Do you think if $25 billion was left in the pockets of rank and file citizens, their lives would improve and the American economy would expand?
Why did the major media debates gloss over the systemic corruption in our Government and Judiciary? Do you think that the earmarks and kickbacks our politicians get from voting for certain projects misallocates our country’s resources? If our country’s resources are misallocated does that result in a lower GDP? If we have a lower GDP, is their less wealth to spread across the entire population? Would the money spent on the bailouts and stimulus been more productively spent elsewhere? Would that have created more jobs?
Why did the major media debates gloss over infringement of the Constitution and erosion of our Bill of Rights? Do you think that was politically calculated to protect those that voted for NDAA, SOPA, PIPA, CISPA etc? It certainly was not calculated to let rank and file American’s make and informed decision.
Instead of the real and immediately pressing issues of the budget, deficits, economy, the need to End the Federal Reserve System, judicial and government corruption we get treated to the distracting unresolved social issues of the past 50+ years. Issues like of birth control, gay marriage, sluts, racism and abortion.
And perhaps the most ingenious facet of this strategy of the 1% and the ruling class elite involves human nature. When only 1 party controls a country, the populace must almost entirely rely upon violent revolution when it becomes politically frustrated. The 1% does not like violent revolution. Since the 1% own more than most everyone else, they have the most to be lost in a violent, destructive revolution. The 1% and the ruling class elite 2 party system is a terrific revolution relief valve. WE THE PEOPLE vote out one party and vote in another and then believe there was a political revolution – Meanwhile the 1% continue with their status quo policies.
But perhaps the biggest surprise to the casual observer is that, after all the foregoing is explained and executed, no matter which of the two major parties candidates get elected, those elected are still more loyal to the 1% because the 1% have backed them financially and/or with other consideration.
CONCLUSION
There is only one political paradigm which explains what is happening in America. To summarize, essentially there is 1 and only 1 ruling class elite pretending to be 2 major political parties. They divide and conquer the great American 66% by exacerbating and accentuating the differences between us.
As look at chart, the 66% of us are more like each other than we are to 1% or ruling class. We all tend to be employees and/or of modest financial means. Our interests, therefore, tend to be similar.
Human nature says we should have a greater affinity and commonality with each other than the 1% and/or the 1 and only 1 ruling class. In a previous article, this writer expanded on who the 66% are:
We are the 66% - 1%, the 99%, GOP, Dems, TEAParty and Occupy Please Take Notice http://shar.es/bdj7S
This writer asserts that WE, THE 66% must recognize we have been manipulated by the 1 and only 1 ruling class to believe there are 2 major political parties, when there is really only 1 ruling class elite pretending to be to different major political parties. The ruling class elite have cause rank and file Americans to mistrust and argue with each other. And in this now exposed reality, it should be evident to center left Democrats and Center Right Republicans, that we have more in common with each other than the 1% and/or the 1 and only 1 corrupt incumbent ruling class elite. Any course of action to reclaim our country and the 66% rightful prominence in our country’s politics will require that we cast off the false dogma of our respective political parties and take steps to reconcile and trust each other to work in our mutual best interests.
Finally, to those in the occupy movement, please take note of this information. 561 People run our country. (President, Vice President, House, Senate, US Supreme Court and the Cabinet) The vast majority are elected. They all take oaths to uphold the constitution and act in the best interests of WE THE PEOPLE. The 1% take no such oaths. Therefore, class warfare is not appropriate and, more importantly, it is inconsistent with Natural Law. Your party elite have misdirected you on this course of action for their own self serving reasons (among them to further divide and conquer WE THE PEOPLE)
Our only course of redress, therefore, is through those elected officials who break their oaths to act in the best interests of WE THE PEOPLE in exchange for Campaign Contributions, Bribes and/or other consideration. Regardless of political party, those elected officials that break their oaths must be held accountable and removed from office. Peacefully Occupy there offices. Peacefully Occupy their campaign rallies. Peacefully Occupy the sidewalks in front of their houses. The 1% don’t get to do anything our elected officials and judges don’t let them do. Peacefully Occupy the elected officials and the Judges.
For those that still question this writer’s assertions, please observe what transpires in this country over the course of the next year. And then ask yourself, “Does what is transpiring make more sense if there really are 2 separate, independent political parties or in a scenario where there is one ruling class elite pretending to be 2 parties? This writer believes you will be amazed at how obvious the conclusion you come to is.
This writer will suggest a course of action for the 66% in a future article called:
Planning the 2nd Enlightenment Part 3 of 3
* The Enlightenment was a period of major social, political and social upheaval that spanned from approximately 1650AD to 1800AD. It resulted in the prior prevailing philosophy of Government, “Divine Right of Kings”, being replaced with the new philosophy of Government, Consent of the Governed. Under Divine Right of Kings, government owned all property and most people. Anyone’s presence on any piece of land was at the complete whim of the Government. Order was maintained through Religion, Cultural Tradition, Superstition and fear of potentially horrific physical punishment. As a result of the Enlightenment, Through the Concept of Natural Law, all people were ascribed certain UNALIENABLE Natural Law Rights. You can learn more about the Enlightenment here http://bit.ly/Id1Aqu You can learn more about Natural Law here http://bit.ly/IJEyFL The US Declaration of Independence, Constitution and Bill of Rights all incorporate elements of Natural Law born out of the Enlightenment.
Those were my thoughts.
