Hill Country Weavers thanks Yarn Crawl donors in October's First Thursday

Austin knitters are just one day away from the Hill Country Yarn Crawl, but for those who just have to start their shopping early, First Thursday offers the perfect excuse.

Yet again, South Congress yarn store Hill Country Weavers is celebrating the extended store hours with a sale, and this month they are thanking the vendors who support the Yarn Crawl. The gifts and prizes featured each year are donated by generous businesses, so the store wants to return the favor with enticing sales on their products.

This year, a wide variety of brands were involved in bringing the Yarn Crawl together in all of its glory. As a result, dozens of yarns are available at 20% off today only. This includes the store's exclusive stock of Brooklyn Tweed, as well as Cascade, which has been a strong supporter of the Yarn Crawl over the years. Other brands include Dream in Color, Lorna's Laces, and Schaefer Yarns. There are plenty of options as knitters begin to panic about their Christmas gift projects.
