High School senior admits being an LGBT while accepting award

According to a article on Yahoo News on Jan 23, 2013, a high school student Jacob Rudolph from Parsippany, New Jersey admitted being a LGBT in front of the entire school.

Teen student Rudolph received a standing ovation from his friends and classmates for his daring revelation, which definitely takes lot of courage.

Rudolph was given the Class Actor award during the presentation of senior class awards and while accepting the award Rudolph came out as his usual self and revealed his real identity.

In his speech he admitted that all the while he has been faking as a "straight", whereas he is an LGBT in reality.

He also stated that he does not want to fake it any more like million other LGBTs for fear of harassment, humiliation, and physical violence.

Rudolph’s speech has received huge positive response and his father uploaded the footage of his speech to the Web with a comment that it takes guts to do what his son did.

Rudolph later said that he felt very light after revealing the truth. His reaction has received positive response on Twitter as well.
