The Harrison Ford rumor is no longer a rumor. On Feb. 16, 2013, Latino Review reporter Umberto Gonzalez confirmed on Fox News Latino that Harrison Ford “will definitely be back to reprise the role in ‘Star Wars VII’,” scheduled for 2015. According to a report by the Detroit Free Press on Feb. 16, 2013, Han Solo fans are more than excited.
Since last November, the rumors that Harrison Ford might return to his role as Han Solo in “Star Wars 7” have sparked not only excitement but also the hope to see Harrison Ford back in the role that propelled him into his filming career.
Until he landed the role as Han Solo, Harrison Ford worked as a carpenter. In 1975, George Lucas hired Harrison Ford to audition for the “Star Wars” role that is still one of the most favorite roles among “Star Wars” fans.
“Star Wars” became one of the most successful movies worldwide and was the beginning of Harrison Ford’s career as an internationally renowned movie star.
While Harrison Ford and Lucasfilm have not yet officially confirmed that Harrison Ford will appear in “Star Wars 7,” Latino Review reporter Umberto Gonzalez, who is the first to claim he has confirmation, stated that,
"I found out yesterday. I did my due diligence, like I do with everything. Triple checked. Legitimate sources...His deal is done.”
