Hannity 'worst excuse': Sean Hannity blasted on Fox News, 'worst journalist'

Hannity ‘worst excuse’ has become a trending topic on several major search engines this week as the Huffington Post reported this Wednesday, Feb. 27, that Fox News host Sean Hannity was blasted by Democratic congressman Keith Ellison during a televised show on Tuesday. Ellison seemed to lose it on Hannity, saying that he was quite simply “the worst excuse for a journalist I’ve ever seen.”

With talk of the upcoming budget sequester looming dangerously close in the world of politics, Keith Ellison seemed to get so angry and explode on Sean Hannity after the Fox News host presented several short clips of President Obama before welcoming the Democratic congressman on the show. The brief videos showed President Obama discussing the impending budget sequester, with none other than the known apocalypse-style music, “Carmina Burana” playing in the background.

The Hannity ‘worst excuse’ news made headlines after the host said that Obama was ultimately guilty of fearmongering while talking about the possible effects that the sequester cuts would put on the American people.

Keith Ellison was certainly annoyed at the clips being presented, particularly before coming onto the Fox News show.

“HANNITY: I guess that's what we can describe as staying on message, something the Democratic Party I would argue is very good at.
ELLISON: You're pretty good at it too.
HANNITY: Thank you.
ELLISON: Quite frankly you are the worst excuse for a journalist I've ever seen.
HANNITY: I can't hear you.”
