We got our hands on "Zombie Tycoon 2" by Frima Studio, which is headed for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in April 2013. This cross platform real time strategy game (RTS) has you controlling four squads of shambling troops and vehicles. It supports cross-buy, play, and save so you can continue the fun while on the go on your PlayStation Vita or at home on the big screen with your PlayStation 3.

Controls are simple, with the square, triangle, circle, and x buttons each controlling a separate squad of your undead warriors. Destroying and invading buildings will allow your zombies to level up and gain new abilities. If your troops perish within your characters field of vision they'll re-spawn, and you can quickly tap the corresponding button to speed up the process. The D-pad controls your character's special abilities, making it akin to a MOBA.

Because you don't need to gather resources you can jump straight into the action. There's a wealth of strategy involved, despite there only being four playable characters. Do you rush in at the beginning or to quickly gain control of the middle of the map, go straight for your opponent, or take your time to acquire as many buildings as possible and grow your army of undead to epic proportions? Whichever strategy you choose, you'll need to be prepared to deal with your adversary in quick yet intense multiplayer matches.

"Zombie Tycoon 2" will be available on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita April 30, 2013 for $9.99.
