The official Playstation Blog announced today that after the PSN update tomorrow, all Playstation Plus members will be able to download “Guardians of Middle Earth” for free. This gives all active subscribers to Sony’s paid Playstation 3 service the chance to jump in the world of the "Lord of the Rings" and "The Hobbit" and step into the shoes of dwarves, elves, and rangers inside the game.
“Guardians of Middle Earth” is a multiplayer online battle arena game, better known as a MOBA for short. MOBA games are competitive PvP driven titles that exist solely to face players against one another during multiplayer combat. These games feature no other style of play as they don’t tend to feature any non-player characters or any form of A.I. as a means to promote the skill of other gamers. The only purpose of a MOBA is to fight player verses player when the game releases to Playstation Plus members.
All Playstation Plus subscribers will be able to download “Guardians of Middle Earth” for free starting tomorrow.
