‘GTA 5’ publisher reveals temporary fix for ‘GTA Online’ cornrow glitch

Brian Bruffey has revealed a temporary fix for the cornrow glitch that players are experiencing in “GTA Online.” According to conversation from the official Rockstar Games Support page on Jan. 14, a fan asked about a possible fix regarding the cornrow hairstyle being permanently tattooed on his character’s head.

The associate customer experience manager at the company replied by saying that the glitch can be fixed by first “equipping a full head mask.” The player should then join a new session in the multiplayer mode of “GTA 5.” This method should remove the glitch if done correctly. You can fix this glitch by equipping a full head mask, then subsequently joining a new session of GTA Online. This will clear your hairstyle and allow you to apply a new one without the cornrows.

Rockstar North is currently working of a permanent fix for the cornrow glitch. The development team recently released the 1.09 patch, which addressed several exploits that led to players earning an infinite amount of money and reputation points in just a short period of time.

“GTA 5” was released on Sept. 17, 2013, for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. In addition to the three characters in the single-player campaign, players can also create a fourth one for use in “GTA Online.” Rockstar Games published and distributed the fifth main title for the popular “Grand Theft Auto” series.
