A voice actor may have potentially hinted at “GTA 5” being released for the PS4 and Xbox One. According to a report from the Talking About Games website on Dec. 20, Lazlow Jones recently appeared on The Opie & Anthony Show radio program.
The voice actor was asked if the recently-released current-generation video game would be coming out to the PS4 and Xbox One. Lazlow Jones responded by saying the company has not yet announced anything. He did disclose that he personally hopes that “GTA 5” would eventually be released on the two next-generation systems, however. You can find some screenshots from the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions in the slideshow to the left of this article and his response below:
We haven’t announced anything. I hope it comes out on the next-gen.
One of the radio hosts claimed that Lazlow Jones winked while making the above comment, leading some fans to believe that the voice actor may know more about the next-generation ports than he is disclosing.
The PS4 and Xbox One, which were released last month, managed to sell more than one million units respectively during the first 24 hours of launch. “GTA 5” also posts impressive numbers with more than 29 million copies shipped worldwide so far on just two platforms. The software product came out on Sept. 17 in the North American region.
In addition to the two next-generation systems, fans are also demanding Rockstar Games to release the open-world action-adventure video game on the Nintendo Wii U and PC platforms.
