‘GTA 5’ PS4 and Xbox 720 port rumors discussed by Take-Two Interactive (Photos)

Strauss Zelnick recently talked a little bit about rumors suggesting that “GTA 5” may be ported to the PS4 and Xbox 720. According to a report by Gamasutra on Jan. 5, the CEO of Take-Two Interactive mentioned that no gamer will be willing too sit out the initial release and wait for something better than the fifth main game in the “Grand Theft Auto” series when asked about the possibility of a dual-generation release in a investor meeting. You can check out some screens from the PS3 and Xbox 360 video game in the slideshow at the top of this article and the comments from Strauss Zelnick below (courtesy of Gamasutra):

There is not one gamer who is going to sit out of GTA V hoping that something that is going to come along down the road that's better. It's going to blow everyone away, and it's going to be in the market in September.

GTA 5” is being developed by Rockstar North and will be published by Rockstar Games. Both companies are the subsidiary units for the aforementioned Take-Two Interactive. The open-world action-adventure video game is slated, for now, to come out for the PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles in North America on Sept. 17. You can pre-order the title in the following link: “GTA 5”

The PS4 and Xbox 720 will most likely be released in North America by the end of 2013. Sony is expected to announce the PS4 in their Playstation Meeting event on Feb. 20. Microsoft may be also planning a formal announcement on the Xbox 720 in the near future.
