A GOP operative was observed by multiple witnesses to have discarded completed voter registration forms in a dumpster. This is a crime in Virginia, but the Republican controlled State Board of Elections will not ask the State Attorney General to investigate the matter.
WTVR.com has reported locally from Virginia that The Virginia State Board of Elections (VSBE) will be refusing to prosecute Colin Small, 31, who was arrested on charges of obstruction of justice and voter fraud. Under the written law the Virgina Attorney General is unable to move forward with a prosecution unless it is requested to investigate by the VSBE. Small, therefore, is off the legal hook despite the fact he was witnessed and there is evidence of him committing a crime.
The VSBE is a special agency of the state government, where all appointees are hand picked by the governor. In this case Virginia's governor is Bob McDonnell, a Republican. The VSBE is comprised of three members. Two are Republicans, and one is a Democrat. Therefore, the GOP always has the majority in every election decision.
One can draw his or her own conclusions about why the majority party chose not to prosecute itself in one of the most polarized elections in America's history.
The Chairman of the VSBE is the distinguished Charlie Judd, who has been involved in Republican politics since 1968. He was also at one time a field and executive director of the Ohio Republican party. Judd was involved in the effort that was influential to Ronald Reagan being elected. According to Judd's LinkedIn profile he was also the Executive Director of the Republican Party of Virginia between 2007 - 2008.
It is painfully obvious what is happening in Virginia. High level lifelong party loyalist Republicans, who would like nothing more than to see their party return to its former glory, are using the power of their position to cover-up an election fraud.
