Chicago’s Midway Airport is between Cicero Avenue and Central Avenue, and between 55th Street and 63rd Street. CPD courses are Chicago Park District golf courses, of which there are six: Columbus Park, Jackson Park, Marquette Park, Robert A. Black, South Shore and Sydney R. Marovitz. Private vehicles are rental cars.

From Midway to Columbus Park (Columbus Park Golf Course is at 5701 W. At West Jackson Boulevard, they should turn left, going west. The course’s entrance is approximately ¼ mile on the left after crossing Central Avenue.

From Midway to Jackson Park (Jackson Park Golf Course is at 6401 S. Richards Drive.), driving golfers should take 55th Street/Garfield Boulevard east for approximately nine miles, through Washington Park, to Lake Park Avenue where they should turn right, going south. When Lake Park ends at 57th Street, they should turn left, going east. At Stony Island, which is the next street going south, they should turn right. Continuing south on Stony Island Avenue, golfers should turn left (going east) at 63rd Street. After crossing Cornell Boulevard, they will see the golf course on the right.

From Midway to Marquette Park (Marquette Park Golf Course is at 6700 S. Kedzie Avenue.), driving golfers should take Cicero Avenue south for approximately one mile to 63rd Street. At 63rd Street, they should turn left, going east. When they arrive at Kedzie Avenue, they should turn right, going south. Continuing south on Kedzie Avenue, they will see the course’s entrance on their right, just after 67th Street/Marquette Boulevard.

From Midway Airport to Robert A. Black (Robert A. Black Golf Course is at 2045 W. Pratt Boulevard.), driving golfers should take Cicero Avenue north for 14 miles to Peterson Avenue where they should turn right, going east. They should continue along to Western Avenue where they should turn left, going north. At Pratt Avenue, which is approximately one mile away, they should turn right, going east. The course’s entrance is ¼ mile on the right.

From Midway to South Shore (South Shore Golf Course is at 7059 S. At Hyde Park Boulevard, they should turn right, going south. At the next or following stop sign, they should turn left, going east in front of the Museum of Science and Industry, until they are able to get on South Lake Shore (US 41) going south. They should follow South Lake Shore Drive south to 71st Street where they will have a sharp, left turn through the gate to the golf course’s parking lots.

From Midway to Sydney R. Marovitz (Marovitz Golf Course is at 3600 N. Recreation Drive.), driving golfers should go north to Interstate 55 where they should enter the ramp going northeast. They should take I-55 to its end at Lake Shore Drive where they should take the ramp going north. Continuing along North Lake Shore drive for approximately 8 miles, they should exit at Recreation Drive; they will see parking lots and directions to the course.
