Global warming hoax exposed by "Climategate"

The myth of Anthropogenic Global Warming has been utterly shattered by a hacker who broke into the computers at the University of East Anglia’s Climate Research Unit (aka  CRU) and released 61 megabytes of confidential files onto the internet.

The files, which include more than 1000 emails and 72 documents, prove once and for all that there has been a widespread conspiracy designed to exaggerate temperature data and promote the theory of global warming. The emails were exchanged between some of the world's most prominent scientists and give us a glimpse into the organized attempt to manipulate data and prevent facts from becoming public.

Australian newspaper columnist Andrew Bolt says this scandal could well be “the greatest in modern science”.

Some excerpts from the emails that show an undeniable attempt to manipulate climate data and hide the fact that the Earth is actually cooling include:

"The fact is that we can’t account for the lack of warming at the moment and it is a travesty that we can’t. The CERES data published in the August BAMS 09 supplement on 2008 shows there should be even more warming: but the data are surely wrong. Our observing system is inadequate."

"I’ve just completed Mike’s Nature trick of adding in the real temps to each series for the last 20 years (ie from 1981 onwards) amd from 1961 for Keith’s to hide the decline (in global temps)."

And the following excerpts show attempts to cover up the conspiracy:

"Can you delete any emails you may have had with Keith re AR4? Keith will do likewise. He’s not in at the moment – minor family crisis. Can you also email Gene and get him to do the same? I don’t have his new email address. We will be getting Caspar to do likewise."

“This was the danger of always criticising the skeptics for not publishing in the “peer-reviewed literature”. Obviously, they found a solution to that–take over a journal! So what do we do about this? I think we have to stop considering “Climate Research” as a legitimate peer-reviewed journal. Perhaps we should encourage our colleagues in the climate research community to no longer submit to, or cite papers in, this journal. We would also need to consider what we tell or request of our more reasonable colleagues who currently sit on the editorial board…What do others think?”

What will this mean for the future of the global warming debate? Considering the fact that the mainstream media is doing little to get this story out little or no immediate adverse effects can be expected. With the UN climate change meeting on the horizon the opposite is more likely to occur. Expect to hear more hysterical news stories grossly exaggerating the false claims of rising temperatures.

However, thanks to the internet the prevailing world view on climate change has become significantly more sceptical. More and more people are seeing the hoax for what it is, an attempt to impose oppressive new regulations on the world population. The "climategate" scandal will almost surely add to the scepticism.

President Obama, who is scheduled to attend the UN climconference in Copenhagen, has made no reference to these new revelations. Wouldn't any open-minded person at least consider this evidence? Of course, but Obama is far from open-minded. He has an agenda. Keeping the myth of global warming alive is key to that agenda.

If you haven't read WELCOME TO OBAMALAND: I’VE SEEN YOUR FUTURE AND IT DOESN’T WORK, I urge you to check it out, especially the chapter entitled ‘Barbecue the Polar Bears’. It will explain Obama's lack of interest in "climategate".

I'll bet Al Gore is going to try to keep a low profile for the next few days.

Folks like you crack me up. You will deny with your last breath that we are causing harm to our planet with many of the actions that we take. Even if you don't want to believe that, because it is too "green" for you, You will continue to deny that we have to invest in new energy sources. Whatever you can do so that YOU don't have to change a thing - maybe your kids will have to, our their kids, but that isn't your problem, eh? I, like any responsible parent, wants a better future for my child. Besides, what does a research group in the UK have to do with your so called Obamaland? On your theme, the internet enables anyone to call themselves a reporter - especially someone who obviously skipped all of his science classes.

Certainly the entire episode damages the credibility of those scientists that are involved. Whether or not anything truly untoward occurred, the appearance is quite strong that it did and that will be damaging. Scientists are supposed to be impartial and deal in facts and the messages show that they clearly did not.

The Green weinie wackos are just like Democrats. They wouldn't know the truth even if it landed in front of them in B&W... how much more proof does one need. Mainstream media will never report the truth when it interfers with there agenda

@Shawn - I'm not sure how old you are Shawn, but I've seen this all before. In the 1970's we were warned, by some of these very same scientists, that we were on the verge of an impending ice age. What would cause it? Why, the very same things they now say are causing global warming. Many heavily populated areas would become uninhabitable we were told. We would all be forced to migrate towrds the equator. A global food shortage would cause millions to starve to death. I must've slept through it. How do you account for the FACT that the Earth's temp is actually declining, and has been for the past decade? And I don't know where I said that our actions wren't causing any harm to our planet, perhaps you could point to the specific sentence. As for my science classes, my grades were nearly perfect. Funny thing about science, what is widely accepted today can be debunked and ridiculed tomorrow. Come back with some facts, perhaps we can have a rational discussion.

A leading scientist involved in the climategate scandal received over half a million dollars in federal economic stimulus funds from the Obama Administration last Summer, it has been revealed.
Professor Michael Mann of Penn State University, currently under investigation by the institution itself for his role in massaging climate data and hijacking the peer review process to advance the myth of anthropogenic global warming, was awarded a grant of $541,184 by the government in June 2009.
Mann, the creator of the now infamously discredited Hockey Stick Graph, landed money that came directly from the U.S. Treasury’s economic stimulus package, reveals the Washington free-market think-tank group The National Center For Public Policy Research.
