Showcasing her whittled waistline and sculpted shoulders in a crop top, "Glee" star Naya Rivera recently revealed her diet and workout wisdom, reported Handbag magazine. And what's clear from her quotes: She earned the right to flaunt her belly button.
Naya knows how to snack smart. Forget the pizza and soda pop: She chooses veggies and chips instead. "I had to have hummus and guacamole on hand for healthy snacks," she said of the Glee Live tour. "I don't drink soda or juices or anything - strictly water, or unfortunately, coffee!' she continued. And she keeps her focus on staying slim. "I wouldn't say it's hard but I would definitely say you have to think about it. Like, 'I have to work out, I can't eat pizza and cheeseburgers all day, every day' as much as I would want to," she told Perez Hilton.
In addition to "maintaining a healthy diet," she exercises. "Legs and butt get the most attention in the Cheerios uniform (referring to the uniform that the cheerleaders on "Glee" wear), so those are my target areas. Lots of squats," she told Fitness magazine. And her least favorite? "I hate crunches. I do planks -- traditional and side planks -- instead for my abs."
