Taking place in Morehead City, North Carolina, for three action-packed days of diving, Wreck Diving Magazine in collaboration with Olympus Dive Center, will be holding the first Wreck Trek event. It is all set to take place from May 27 - May 29, 2014. Not only will you have the opportunity to dive some of the most outstanding wrecks that North Carolina has to offer, but you will become a part of the testing of some new and very cool equipment by popular dive manufacturers.

Familiar names such as Shearwater Dive Computers, Klein Side Scan Sonars, Video Ray Rov's, Garrett Metal Detectors, GreenForce Lights and many more, will be doing presentations and demonstrations throughout the three day period. To accomplish the most with the personalized attention that each diver desires, there will be a limit of 17 divers per dive in order to gain the most out of the experience.

Not only will attendees have fun in the water but there will be plenty of fun on land as well. One evening there will be a BBQ on the docks and with the proceeds from the sale of the tickets, all funds will go to support the Shipwreck Exploration Society, a non-profit organization devoting itself to the exploration of the world's oceans, lakes, and waterways for lost shipwrecks and historical artifacts.

If you have mastered the many skills of diving safely and properly, this is the event you won't want to miss. Depths that these wrecks will draw you to are anywhere between 60 to 120 feet below the ocean's surface. Having your advanced open water certification makes you the perfect candidate for Wreck Trek 2014.

All-inclusive prices are extremely reasonable for an opportunity like this that doesn't come around too often. Make your reservations today to do something entirely different from the norm and contact Olympus Dive Center at (252) 726-9432 or book online at
