Actress Jennifer Aniston says she wants to marry actor George Clooney? The news comes as a shock to many, as Clooney is the best friend of her ex-husband Brad Pitt and the bachelor is very much involved and living with Italian bikini swimsuit model Elisabetta Canalis.
The news Aniston thinks she and Clooney ought to hook up, get married, and have a few kids hit the tabloid media as part of a quip she made in a celebrity interview.
In all reality, Aniston was joking to a UK Magazine about settling down with Clooney, hinting that while she thinks of herself as the world's most famous Bachelorette that George Clooney is her natural paramour as the world's most eligible Bachelor.
George Clooney, however, seems to be quite content living with his current mistress, Elisabetta Canalis. The two share his celebrity home on the shores of Lake Como in Italy and jet back and forth to the United States where Clooney also owns a mansion in California.
George and Elisabetta have entertained many other celebrity couples at their Italian estate since getting together more than a year ago, and are considered a Hollywood fixture as a celebrity couple on the red carpet.
Jennifer Aniston has dated a slew of Hollywood men -- from movie stars to musicians -- since her famous split from actor Brad Pitt, Geoge Clooney's BFF and co-star in the Ocean's Eleven movie series.
While the young Elisabetta Canalis had a reputation for being wild among Italians and Europeans in general thanks to her shameless sense of humor, willingness to flaunt her fabulous figure, and for her penchant to date professional Soccer players, she seems to have settled down into the role of domestic goddess quite quickly at the side of her older lover George Clooney.
Will the celebrities get married? Canalis and Clooney, that is?
Both report that a wedding is unlikely as Clooney does not want to get married again.
Further, Canalis says she would rather have dogs than children.
Aniston, on the other hand, is still on the prowl for eligible and virile men of any age, as she would like to settle down with the right man and have kids. The star celeb's biological clock is ticking.
