Sometimes dolls take on a life of their own and insist on being photographed for special occasions. That's what happened when Gene, Madra and Tyler got together with a few of their friends and started clowing around in their St. Patrick's Day outfits to celebrate the wearing 'o the green. Since I have already devoted several articles to the smaller dolls, it was time to let the 15 - 16" girls have their turn in front of the camera. A few of the accessories are just for St. Patrick's Day and not part of the original ensembles.

Dressed in their Saint Patrick's Day finest from left to right are:

• Madra in Cold Shoulder, a sage green gown that bares Madra's left shoulder and has a provocative slit up the front of the skirt (2001)
• OOAK Gene wearing The Perfect Gift outfit, a two-piece suit is made of a luxurious dark-green fabric trimmed with Maroon satin ribbon rosettes in a limited edition of 5,000;
• Yellow Hayley by Luv Soft Ltd Company of Hong Kong (1998)
• Tyler in the CU Shamrock kelly green silk dupioni dress with black shamrock embroidery at the bodice made in a very a limited edition of 100 by Robert Tonner (2000)
• Tyler in the green dress made for the first Tyler convention in Portland
• Tyler in Central Park Benefit Luncheon, an embroidered celadon silk shantung suit with glittering rhinestone buttons (1999).
