A 24-year-old Gainesville man was shot to death late Saturday night – and police are searching for a 2003 Nissan Altima that may have been involved in the crime.

So far, police have no suspect and no motive for the deadly shooting.

Around 11 p.m., deputies responded to the 1800 block of Tulip Drive after getting a 911 call about a shooting, according to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office. They did not say who made that call.

When deputies arrived they found Mr. Rashawn Miguel Taylor with at least one gunshot wound, the sheriff’s spokesman Sgt. Mark Mitchell said.

Mr. Taylor was transported to the Northeast Georgia Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

No one else was injured, and no further information is available regarding a suspect or suspects.
Investigators are looking for a maroon in-color 2003 Nissan Altima with tag PJB 3588 that may have been in the area.

Anyone with information regarding this vehicle or with further information about the case is asked to call the Hall County crime investigation division tip line at (770) 503-3232.
