Since Saturday, April 26, 2014 is National Pretzel Day, Frito-Lay has created a video especially for Examiner to celebrate the special day with pretzel-inspired recipes.

Although the exact origin of the pretzel is unknown, the Rold Gold brand has been around since 1917, making delicious pretzels for consumers for decades. Pretzels have now become one of the countries most coveted snacks and just in time for National Pretzel Day on April 26th, NEW Rold Gold Pretzel Thins has made its debut in the snack aisle in three delicious flavors – Original, Garlic Parmesan (our favorite) and Three Cheese.

Whether you’re planning to celebrate National Pretzel Day with friends and family, or just looking for a new way to take a yummy snack break, Frito-Lay Executive Chef Jody Denton discusses in the video easy-to-make pretzel-inspired snack recipes, packable and snackable food to enjoy on Pretzel Day, along with food trends.
