New Year's Eve Activities for the Kids: The Providence Journal announced Saturday, December 31st, the annual 2012 Bright Night Providence New Year's Eve Celebration begins this afternoon at 12:00pm, December 31, 2011 at the PROVIDENCE CHILDREN'S MUSEUM, and goes into Sunday morning, January 1, 2012 with venues throughout the city. Bright Night Providence is an artist-run arts oriented New Year's Eve Celebration. It carries on in the tradition of First Night Providence. Tickets cost $15-20.
