TNA Impact Wrestling is doing whatever they can to try and keep up with the giant known as WWE so when all doesn't seem to be working with their wrestling roster - turn to reality television. It is something the company has done before, but this time instead of Johnny Fairplay, TNA went out and signed former Big Brother housguest Jessie Godderz.
Known on the reality show as "Mr. Pec-Tacular," Godderz signed the deal with TNA and TMZ has actually learned that the company is hopeful he will debut by the end of the year on television.
Godderz has been training to get into professional wrestling ever since his appearances on Big Brother in seasons 10 and 11. The series is currently in its 13th season.
Multiple sources tell TMZ that Godderz has indeed signed a developmental deal with TNA that runs through the remainder of 2011. Godderz did recently speak with TMZ about what he's been going through to prepare for his hopefully soon debut.
He's been "training with TNA wrestler Bully Ray at his facility in Florida" since becoming a part of TNA. His dream is to be able to have a match with TNA wrestler and Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle.
