The video begins with a man talking about how his girlfriend Rosie used to bring him lunch to the field every day when he worked. The video then shows the couple's fairytale country life. They got married on the farm, and had five children. One child died at birth, but the rest grew up to be healthy, and happy.

At the end of the video it shows the older man is actually at his wife's funeral with his children and grandchildren. The Florida Georgia Line members, Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley, are also in the video. They are seen at the farm playing guitar and singing near the barn. The single was released to the public on July 7 and since then has reached No. 1 on the iTunes all genre music chart.

The song "Dirt" is the lead single from Florida Georgia Line's upcoming second studio album. No release date, or album title have been announced. The duo's debut studio album, Here's to the Good Times, was released on Dec. 4, 2012 via Republic Nashville and reached No. 4 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart.

That album went on to spawn five singles, all of which charted on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart. Those singles were "Cruise," "Get Your Shine On," "Round Here," "Stay," and "This Is How We Roll" which features Luke Bryan.
